Your privacy is the whole point of whisper. Here's what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account holders: email address, username, and sign-in details.
- Notes: the text of messages sent to you.
- Senders: an anonymous device key stored in your browser, used only so recipients can block abuse. It is never shown to recipients.
- AI writer: text you submit to the AI writer is sent to our AI provider to generate a suggestion and is not stored by us.
How we use it
To deliver notes, run your inbox, enforce blocks and filters, and keep the service safe.
Sharing
We don't sell your data. We share it only with service providers that run whisper., or when legally required.
Retention
Notes stay until the recipient deletes them. Deleting your account removes your profile and notes.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time by deleting notes or contacting us.
